Booking and Visit Policies
Effective date: November 1, 2026
These policies apply to in-person tours offered by Sunrise Museum Biblical Tours (“Sunrise,” “we,” or “us”), operated by [confirm legal business name or names of legal operators and business address]. Contact us at info@sunrisemuseumbiblicaltours.com with booking questions or requests to change a visit.
Each museum sets its own admission, group registration, accessibility, and visitor rules. Before you pay, your checkout will show the Sunrise tour charge, any museum admission collected by Sunrise, the date and local time, guest count, and total price. Your confirmation email will repeat those details and identify any museum admission you must purchase separately.
When your booking is confirmed
Submitting an inquiry or selecting a date does not reserve a place. A booking is confirmed when Sunrise has approved the tour date and museum arrangements, your payment has succeeded, and we have sent a booking confirmation email. If a date requires further museum approval, we will tell you before taking payment. Contact us if payment appears to have succeeded but you do not receive a confirmation email.
The confirmation will include the museum, meeting point, expected tour length, arrival instructions, and a contact method for the day of your visit. Times are shown in the local time zone of the museum.
If you need to cancel
Please email us from the address used for your booking. These preliminary cancellation windows apply to the Sunrise guided tour charge, measured from the scheduled local start time:
-
Seven days or more before the tour: full refund of the Sunrise tour charge.
-
From 72 hours to less than seven days before the tour: 50% refund of the Sunrise tour charge.
-
Less than 72 hours before the tour, or after it begins: no refund of the Sunrise tour charge.
We will initiate an approved refund to the original payment method within seven business days. Your bank or card provider may take longer to post it. Museum admission and reservation charges are handled as described under “Museum admission” below. These terms do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.
Changing your date or guest count
You may request one change of date without a Sunrise change fee at least 72 hours before the tour. A new date depends on guide availability, remaining capacity, and the museum’s rules. A price difference or a museum charge may still apply. If we cannot offer a suitable new date, the cancellation window for your original date applies.
Please tell us promptly if your guest count changes. Additional guests require available space and may increase the price. A reduction in guests is treated under the cancellation windows above for the places removed. Changes to a museum group registration or admission purchase may be subject to the museum’s separate terms.
Transfers to another guest
You may ask to transfer a place to another person up to 24 hours before the tour by emailing us the replacement guest’s name. Sunrise does not charge a transfer fee. We can complete the transfer only if the museum’s ticket or group rules allow it and the new guest qualifies for the admission category purchased. If a transfer is unavailable, the cancellation terms for the original booking apply.
Late arrivals and no-shows
Please arrive at the meeting point shown in your confirmation. If you are delayed, use the day-of-visit contact details as soon as possible. The guide may begin at the scheduled time to respect other guests and museum arrangements. We will try to help you join a tour already in progress when practical, but cannot extend its end time or guarantee access to missed portions.
If you have not arrived or contacted us within 30 minutes of the start time, we may treat the booking as a no-show. No-shows are not eligible for a refund of the Sunrise tour charge. Museum admission remains subject to the museum’s terms.
If Sunrise or the museum changes the visit
If Sunrise cancels a tour or cannot provide the guided experience, you may choose an available replacement date or receive a full refund of the Sunrise tour charge.
A museum may close, restrict group access, change an exhibition, or remove an object from display. If the museum becomes unavailable, we will offer a new date or refund the Sunrise tour charge. If a featured object is withdrawn but the tour can still cover its main subject through a suitable revised route, we will explain the change. If the change substantially alters the advertised experience, you may choose a new date or a full refund of the Sunrise tour charge.
Severe weather, unsafe travel conditions, public emergencies, and other disruptions may require us to delay or cancel a visit. If Sunrise cancels for one of these reasons, the same choice of a new date or full Sunrise tour charge refund applies. Sunrise does not cover guests’ travel, lodging, parking, or other expenses purchased separately.
Museum admission
Your checkout and confirmation will state whether museum admission is included in the amount collected by Sunrise or must be purchased directly from the museum.
If you buy admission directly from a museum, that museum controls changes and refunds for its ticket; contact the museum using the instructions on your ticket. A Sunrise refund does not automatically refund a ticket bought from the museum.
If Sunrise collects a museum admission or reservation charge on your behalf, we will identify it separately before payment. Its refund or transfer eligibility follows the terms disclosed for that museum and booking. If Sunrise cancels your tour, we will help request any available museum refund or reschedule. We will tell you what portion, if any, the museum does not return. We will never describe a Sunrise tour fee as a museum charge.
Accessibility requests
We want to help you plan a workable visit. Tell us about mobility, sensory, communication, or other access needs when you inquire or as soon as you can after booking. We will discuss the proposed route and check available museum accommodations. Contacting us at least seven days ahead gives us more time to make arrangements, but you may contact us later. We will not promise a particular accommodation until it has been confirmed.
Payments and payment information
Online payments for Sunrise bookings are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives the payment information needed to process the transaction; Sunrise receives booking and transaction details needed to manage your visit and any refund. We do not ask you to send a card number by email. Stripe’s handling of payment information is described in its Privacy Policy, and Sunrise’s handling of booking information is described in our Privacy Policy.
The price and currency shown at checkout are the amount you authorize us to charge. Your confirmation email will serve as your booking record. If its price, guest count, or date differs from what you approved at checkout, contact us promptly so we can correct it.
